Platform Plumbing is a Master Plumber outfit set up to be the firm builders, architects and serious renovators bring in early — and trust to deliver the system right the first time.

Most plumbing businesses are organised around the call-out: the leak, the blockage, the broken cylinder. Platform was built around something different — the planned project. The new build. The serious renovation. The commercial fitout that has to pass inspection on the first sign-off.
That posture changes everything about how we run. We work with builders, architects and homeowners at the design stage of their project, not after the slab goes down. We read drawings. We ask the awkward questions early. We’d rather have ten conversations on the plans than one rework on a finished site.
It also changes who we hire. Every Platform tradesperson is trained and licensed across plumbing, gas fitting and drain laying — so coordination doesn’t happen between three different subcontractors with three different schedules. It happens inside one team, on one ticket.
The work spans three categories that don’t usually live under one roof: the technical infrastructure end (high-rise hot water, stormwater retention, gas regulators), the residential end (new builds, renovations, drainage stacks), and the luxury end (freestanding baths, recessed shower details, kitchen fitouts where the fixtures came from a specifier’s catalogue). The thread between them is care — taken from the design stage through to the final fixture.

The cost of doing it twice is borne by the building, not just the budget. We’d rather slow down at the start than chase a fault later.
Educate the client along the way

Sit at the design table
The earlier we’re involved, the better the result. Reading drawings, sizing systems, walking sites — that’s where the difference is made.
Never compromise on quality
If a fitting is wrong, we change it. If a route can be cleaner, we route it again. Quality isn’t a finish — it’s the system underneath the finish.
Water stewardship
Water is finite. We design with that in mind — recycled stormwater, efficient fixtures, rainwater systems where they make sense. Doing the work properly is its own form of environmental responsibility.

Our base is at 15 Eiger Place in Northpark. We identify as East Auckland because that’s where we’re from — but the work takes us across the region: from Pokeno in the south to Silverdale in the north, from suburban renovations to inner-city commercial fitouts.
